Welcome Back

So I was going back over some of the old posts from like.... a year ago, and realized the only reason I ever created this was to keep people informed of my life. It was to create a hobby for myself in which I could escape, do something fun, enjoy.

Turns out school, work, and Netflix trumped this hobby. However, I have new inspiration, that will come later. First, I wanted to point out my new year's resolutions from January 2, 2014:

  1. Save money: We have a wedding in 6 months.
  2. No more charging: Pay off the credit card by the end of 2014. It can be done!
  3. Losing weight (of course) and sticking to it. There is no reason that I can't be as dedicated as I was 3-4 months of my life in 2012, now. Let's do this!
  4. Leaving the past in the past- I have had trouble letting things go. It's time to change that
  5. New job, new you. I need to get back to my main focus, and that's my Master's degree. Transferring to a new job will help me focus more on school
  6. Chic-Hippie. I have become a person that I feel, I am not. I want to fix my wardrobe. Yes, I said wardrobe!
Now I know it seems like my resolutions are high in numbers and may seem unattainable, but I believe that with enough daily motivation, they are exactly what I need. I have 364 and counting to prove that I can do it!

It is currently August 16, 2014 and here is the status of those resolutions:

  1. We paid off the wedding and then some, and it was AMAZING. Pictures to come later. Resolution, done.
  2. We stopped charging, but still need to work on paying off the credit cards. This may be tricky by the end of 2014. If not by then, then by the 2014 Tax return it will be paid off!
  3. I have been able to refocus on Advocare, a product and company that has always helped me lose weight. I have to set a goal and continue pushing to attain it. I WILL SUCCEED.
  4. I have worked towards moving forward with many things. I have been able to move on from so many things that were holding me back! Resolution, done.
  5. New job and then some. Focusing on the Master's Degree is key. Resolution, done.
  6. Wardrobe is still in progress. Need $$ for clothes, and I would much rather travel
That's 3 out of 6 resolutions completed, with the other 3 in the works. I'd say it has been a very successful year thus far.

As for my new inspiration, I am heading back into the web design business and web maintenance. I have found some extremely useful resources that have informed me on how to make money with ebusiness. I will incorporate both new ideas AND Advocare into this new form of advertising, specifically because of my husband's job, and I WILL be successful. Before I indulge into too much, I am going to focus.

Tomorrow is my first ever Advocare Mixer and I have assignments due for school! One of which has to do with further networking and benefitting myself and my career at a professional conference. Onward! More to look forward to:
